In April 2022, The Revd John Saxon was appointed Disabilities’ Adviser for Chelmsford Diocese.
John is a Team Vicar in Saffron Walden where he has served since 2020.
As Bishop’s Adviser, John provides advice, guidance and support to parishes and to Bishop Guli and the Bishop's Leadership Team.
The Revd John Saxon said:
"I am pleased to take up the challenge of this new role. Having previously worked in a school for children with special educational needs and disabilities, I know the importance of giving all people the best opportunities possible. I hope to support all in ensuring the knowledge, resources and understanding is in place for clergy, licensed ministers and congregations in the Chelmsford Diocese. I would love to hear from anyone who would wish to help with this task.”
